The RealWear Navigator Z1 is an intrinsically safe assisted reality headset designed for frontline workers operating in hazardous environments where conventional electronic devices are not permitted. Certified for ATEX Zone 1 and CSA C-1 D-1, it brings hands-free digital workflows, remote collaboration, and visual inspection capabilities to locations where flammable gases, vapours, or dust may be present.

Built for extreme industrial conditions, the Navigator Z1 is IP66-rated, MIL-STD-810H certified, and drop tested, with an operating temperature range of -20 °C to 55 °C. Its rugged design, adjustable display boom arm, and compatibility with helmets, safety eyewear, hearing protection, and external headphones make it suitable for oil and gas platforms, chemical plants, energy facilities, utilities, and other high-risk industrial environments.

A dual-camera system combines a tiltable 50 MP visual camera with an integrated FLIR Lepton 3.5 thermal sensor featuring MSX technology, giving workers both high-resolution image capture and thermal inspection in a single device. The headset also supports 4K video at 30 fps and 1080p video at 120 fps, helping teams capture detailed visual information for inspection, maintenance, and remote expert support.

Clear communication is supported by four digital microphones with active noise cancellation up to 100 dBA and internal loudspeakers on both sides. With WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, multi-constellation location support, Ari OS based on Android 13, Ari Cloud centralised deployment and management, and secure sign-in options, the RealWear Navigator Z1 provides a powerful assisted reality platform for connected operations in hazardous environments.
