Ubiquiti's Cloud Key Gen2 Plus is a multi-application management device for UniFi networking and UniFi video devices. Designed for easy deployment, the Bluetooth functionality allows for quick and simple configuration using the Ubiquiti UniFi mobile apps.
The front panel display shows vital stats for the UniFi networking and UniFi Protect hardware. The built-in battery allows the device to trigger a safe shut-down sequence in the event of power loss.
The UniFi Cloud Key Gen2 Plus has a 1TB 2.5" hard drive which can be easily replaced by a 5TB hard drive. The replacement process is quick and easy and the device will automatically format the new hard drive once it is inserted. Settings and configurations from the old hard drive will need to be manually transferred by the user.
The device comes pre-installed with Ubiquiti's UniFi Protect software, an upgrade of the UniFi Video software that is compatible with Gen 2 and Gen 3 video cameras.
The UniFi Gen 2 Plus is powered by 802.3af PoE or QC 2.0 USB-C.
Running only UniFi Protect, the UniFi Cloud Key Gen 2 Plus can manage up to Up to 20+ UniFi Cameras. Running dual-applications it can support up to 15 UniFi Cameras and 50 UniFi Devices.
