Ubiquitis PBE-2AC-400 incorporates a dish reflector design with airMax ac technology. Operating in the 2.4GHz frequency, the PowerBeam 2AC is capable of up to 330+ Mbps throughput and can be deployed in links of up to 20km. The PowerBeam 2AC directs RF energy in a tighter beamwidth. With the focus in one direction, the PowerBeam 2AC blocks or spatially filters out noise, improving noise immunity. The device also takes advantage of Ubiquitis InnerFeed technology, integrating the radio into the antennas feedhorn to eliminate cable losses.
