The LtAP Mini LTE kit is a compact and robust wireless access point designed to keep your vehicle connected wherever you travel. Whether navigating the great outdoors or bustling city streets, this device ensures constant online connectivity for uploading location data.
Encased in an extra-durable enclosure with a wall mounting kit, the LtAP Mini features two SIM slots for seamless switching between cellular providers and integrated GPS support, ideal for tracking vehicles like cars, buses, or trains.
It includes an Ethernet port for wired devices and a 2.4 GHz wireless radio. A RS232 serial port provides console access for debugging purposes.
Power options are versatile, including the classic DC jack, passive PoE-in, and microUSB. Users have successfully powered the LtAP Mini with a portable power bank throughout the day.
The new LTE card offers improved pricing and supports popular LTE bands, including the B28 band. It connects to two internal antennas with u.FL connectors, allowing for the addition of external LTE antennas to enhance coverage.
To facilitate vehicle tracking, a simple tracking application example is provided in the RouterOS documentation. For optimal performance, an external GPS antenna like the ACGPSA, with an IP67 water resistance rating, is recommended.
