Introducing the new NetCloud SG4000 Service Gateway

Simplify your customer-hosted NetCloud deployments with a plug-and-play, pre-configured server appliance.

The SG4000 delivers the full capabilities of the software NetCloud Service Gateway in a low-touch, on-premises form factor. Ideal for public sector and other organisations that require data to remain off public clouds or operate with limited IT resources.

What sets the R2400 and RC1250 apart?

Last month, Ericsson introduced the Cradlepoint R2400 ruggedised mobile router and RC1250 ruggedised captive modem, built to deliver resilient connectivity for vehicles and mobile field teams operating in demanding environments.

Key improvements over previous generations include:

  • Faster security processing – Up to 2× more throughput to support NetCloud SASE zero-trust security and SD-WAN services.
  • Future-proof modularity – Unique extensible design allows 5G modem upgrades without replacing the router as carrier technology evolves.
  • AI-assisted management – NetCloud provides centralised visibility as well as the industry’s first agentic AI virtual expert optimised for enterprise 5G networking to help improve the productivity of lean IT teams. It also features AIOps insights to detect issues early, before they impact service.

Partner programme updates

Enterprise Wireless University migration update

Enterprise Wireless University is moving to a new platform soon, designed to deliver a more intuitive learning experience. To support the transition, timelines have been extended to give partners additional time to complete courses and certifications.

Key dates:

  • April 1 – Deadline to complete any in-progress learning and download your transcript
  • April 2-15 – Platform freeze for Ericsson testing and migration preparation
  • April 16 – New platform launches for all partners

Reminder: Experience Hub partner reward ends 31 March

Partners still have time to take advantage of the Experience Hub reward programme. The Experience Hub demonstration platform helps you enhance customer conversations, build Enterprise Wireless expertise, and accelerate new opportunities.

Firmware and software updates

NetCloud Manager updates:

GeoView Coverage Map enhancements with new Service Type and Carrier layers for improved visibility of cellular health across deployments, and expanded Custom Roles permissions enabling more granular control over device configuration, group configuration, and firmware updates.

AI-based NetCloud Assistant (ANA) update:

The ANA Tech Docs revamp is now live, delivering a significant improvement over the previous experience, with enhancements across look, feel, and functionality.
