Introducing the Ericsson Cradlepoint R2400 and RC1250 captive modem accessory
Ericsson has announced the new Cradlepoint R2400 ruggedised mobile router and RC1250 ruggedised captive modem – a next-generation platform designed for mission-critical connectivity in harsh environments.
Together, the R2400 and RC1250 enable modular 5G expansion with support for up to five active 5G SA modems, delivering true multicarrier redundancy. The platform also introduces Dual-SIM Dual-Standby for faster failover, embedded WiFi 7, centimetre-level RTK positioning and significantly enhanced secure performance.
Announced last week, with general availability expected in Q2. Westbase.io will share further details once pricing becomes available. Keep an eye out for more updates in the coming weeks.

90-day free trial of Ericsson security solutions
Encourage your Ericsson Enterprise Wireless customers to take advantage of the new 90-day free trial available for Ericsson NetCloud Secure Connect, SD-WAN and ZTNA.
These solutions help customers strengthen WWAN security and resilience – from replacing legacy VPNs with zero-trust access, to enabling resilient multi-WAN connectivity and secure remote access to applications and IoT assets.
Licences can be activated directly in NetCloud Manager via the Subscriptions tab by selecting Start a free trial.

Enterprise Wireless Experience Hub updates
The Experience Hub Portal is getting a new, user-friendly upgrade in early Q2, including a simplified sandbox booking calendar and quicker access to demo resources. Partner beta opens in mid-March – email experience.hub.support@ericsson.com with Portal Beta to request access.
A new F.A.S.T. demo on detecting rogue and shadow IT is now available, showcasing how NetCloud SASE policies improve network visibility and security.
