Walney Island’s existing wired infrastructure was inadequate, limiting residents’ access to high-speed internet. To overcome this, Voneus selected Cambium Terragraph, a cost-effective wireless solution that enabled gigabit speeds and faster deployment than fibre.

With over a decade of partnership, Westbase.io, as Voneus’ preferred distributor, played a pivotal role in ensuring the project’s seamless execution. • Cambium cnWave V5000 nodes were installed on lighting columns to create a high-speed Terragraph mesh network.
